Job description
You as a Product Manager
You are the driving force behind transforming physical load carriers into intelligent data assets. You dive deep into customer needs and clearly map out where real value can be unlocked within the supply chain. Based on those insights, you lead discovery and ideation within one or more product modules: you research, test assumptions and develop strong, well-founded product initiatives that demonstrably create customer impact.
Once validated, you confidently hand over your plans to the Product Owner for realization. And after delivery? That’s when it really begins. You ensure strong positioning and a successful launch — and you measure whether it’s actually being used (because “shipped” is not a KPI).
And yes, we’re looking for someone who genuinely gets excited about this world: Supply Chain / FMCG / Retail. Think pallets, roll containers, warehouses, distribution centers, stores, transport flows, return streams… and everything you’d rather not lose. You understand this domain, speak the language and see opportunities where others mainly see logistical chaos.
What will you be doing?
You work closely with Product Owners, UX, Sales and Marketing, operating independently within the framework of the product strategy. Within the team, there is a clear distinction between discovery (you) and delivery (PO), with short lines of communication and strong mutual trust.
You lead discovery & ideation within one or more product modules and translate customer needs into validated product initiatives.
You analyze supply chain processes (pallets, roll containers, warehouses, DCs, retail, return flows) and identify where data truly adds value.
You develop business cases and substantiate decisions with data, customer insights and market validation.
You collaborate closely with Product Owners, Tech and Design to shape roadmap direction and priorities.
You initiate and guide customer pilots to test and optimize new propositions.
You ensure strong positioning and successful launches of new features.
You monitor adoption and usage, analyze results and adjust where necessary (because impact > output).
Job requirements
What do you bring?
6–8+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably within SaaS, IoT or Supply Chain Tech.
Strong domain knowledge of logistics processes, load carrier management and multi-stakeholder supply chains.
Strong analytical skills: you can translate raw (sensor) data into sharp insights, decisions and business value.
Confident communication: you are a persuasive sparring partner and comfortable saying “no” when something does not fit the long-term vision.
Methodologically strong: you master discovery frameworks (such as Opportunity Solution Trees) and work smoothly within Agile teams.
About us
A truly connected supply chain requires more than smart devices or strong software.
It requires a reliable and scalable ecosystem built for the complexity of retail, FMCG, logistics and pooling. That is exactly what we deliver at Connected Load Carrier (CLC).
CLC is part of Bright Technology Ventures (BTV) and benefits from the strength of an integrated IoT ecosystem. Within BTV, specialized organizations collaborate, each with deep expertise in a crucial layer of the IoT chain.
CLC hardware is fully designed and manufactured in Europe by Dutch IoT Solutions (DIS). By developing our own devices — from energy-efficient beacons to advanced asset trackers — we guarantee robust solutions with long battery life and reliable performance, even in high-volume, high-intensity environments.
What we offer
Working in a scale-up: short lines, high ownership, fast decision-making;
Collaboration with driven professionals who value expertise over hierarchy;
Competitive employment conditions aligned with our current scale-up phase;
Plenty of room for ideas, improvement and healthy technical ownership;
Flexible working hours and hybrid working options — though we do expect your friendly personality to regularly brighten up the office (Brabant-style gezelligheid is never mandatory, but definitely encouraged);
Flexible number of vacation days: as long as we deliver what’s needed, there’s room for flexibility;
Daily shared lunch where work talk is optional;
Fun team outings, Thursday or Friday drinks, and plenty of laughter alongside hard work;
Opportunity to participate in our bike plan;
Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer or an NS Business Card;
Of course, we contribute to your pension plan.
