Job description

You as HR & Office Support

You make everything run smoothly unnoticed. Colleagues think: "How nice that this is just taken care of." And no one knows exactly how you do it, it's a kind of magic! In short: you ensure that our office 'clicks', from coffee to administration. You combine it all from A to Z and bring structure to an organization that is constantly evolving. And that's where it gets interesting: not everything is set in stone in a scale-up. You love overview, see what can be improved, and ensure that processes not only exist but are actually followed. There is a lot to optimize, improve, and set up smarter. Here you can not only execute. Here you can build.

What will you do

In this role, you are the engine behind everything that needs to be "just well arranged." You ensure that the office runs smoothly and that HR processes are well organized. You switch between practical questions ("Where are the keys?") and serious topics ("Is this file fully compliant with GDPR?") without blinking.

  • Office & Facility
    You keep the office professional, representative, and well-organized. You arrange workspaces, lunch, supplies, and manage suppliers. If you see something that can be improved, you fix it.

  • HR Support
    You support flawless and timely HR administration, monitor personnel files, and ensure that actions from conversations and talent analyses are neatly followed up. You also assist with mobility and benefits.

  • HR Data & Overview
    You keep HR overviews up to date (inflow, outflow, leave, absenteeism) and identify deviations before anyone else sees them. Structure is your second nature.

  • Onboarding & Employee Experience
    New colleagues start well-prepared thanks to you. You ensure that their first days are right — practical and personal. Additionally, you organize small cultural moments that make a difference.

  • Events & Q-meetings
    From staff outings to Q-meetings: you coordinate planning, quotes, logistics, and execution within agreed frameworks.

  • Occupational Health & Compliance
    You monitor H&S follow-up, support audits (ISO), and ensure that HR data is processed carefully and GDPR-compliant.

In short: you are the silent force that ensures everyone can work here without worrying about the basics.

Job requirements

What do you bring

You have about 3-5 years of experience in office management, HR support, or a similar role. You are used to working independently and feel comfortable in an environment where not everything is spelled out to the last detail.

  • Experience in a dynamic organization where ownership is important

  • Strong administrative skills and a sense of structure

  • Affinity with HR processes/systems and working with confidential information

  • Basic knowledge of HR administration and GDPR

  • Good command of Dutch and English

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with HR systems is a plus

And just as important:

  • You are proactive and see work before work sees you

  • You work in a structured and precise manner (details are not a side issue)

  • You are service-oriented, communicative, and socially sensitive

About us

We are Bright Technology Ventures (also known as BTV) - an ambitious IoT Scale-up from the beating heart of Brabant, 's-Hertogenbosch. With a down-to-earth mentality and big dreams, we build technology and insights that work. Since 2018, we have been investing in smart hardware and software that helps organizations work smarter, more sustainably, and more efficiently. From our office in 's-Hertogenbosch, we develop everything in-house: from robust IoT devices to scalable platforms. With about 70 colleagues, we work day in and day out to realize our dreams. Our culture? Open, energetic, and a bit stubborn.

What we offer

  • Working in a scale-up: short lines, a lot of ownership, quick decision-making;

  • Collaboration with driven professionals who prioritize content over hierarchy;

  • Market-conform employment conditions fitting the stage we are in as a company (read: Scale-up);

  • Naturally room for ideas, improvement, and healthy technical ownership;

  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work hybrid — although we expect your friendly personality to visit our office regularly (Brabant coziness is never mandatory, but we do encourage it);

  • Flexible number of vacation days: as long as we deliver what is needed, a lot is possible;

  • Daily joint lunch where work doesn't have to be the topic;

  • Fun team outings, drinks on Thursdays or Fridays, and plenty of fun alongside hard work;

  • Possibility to participate in our bike plan;

  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer or an NS Business Card;

  • Of course, we contribute to your pension accrual.
