Job description

You as Full-Stack Developer

get excited about building digital products that make physical assets smarter. Think connected load carriers, IoT data, location information, dashboards and applications that help customers gain control over their logistics processes.

You will work on modern web applications where a lot comes together: real-world data, user-friendly interfaces, scalable back-end logic, APIs, map visualisations and performance-critical front-end components. The solutions you build are not meant to be “nice screens to look at”, but practical tools that help customers make better decisions based on insight, availability, movements, exceptions and performance across their supply chain.

In this role, you work across the full stack, with a strong focus on modern front-end development. You develop data-heavy interfaces, responsive applications and reusable components that fit within a scalable IoT platform. You work closely with product owners, designers, developers and domain experts within Connected Load Carrier.

What will you be doing?

You will work on web applications that are scalable, fast and easy to use. You collaborate with designers, product owners and other developers, translating ideas into solutions that are technically solid and genuinely pleasant to use.

More specifically, you will focus on:

  • Designing, building and maintaining full-stack applications.

  • Developing modern, responsive and mobile-first interfaces.

  • Building and maintaining reusable front-end components and component libraries.

  • Developing back-end functionality, APIs and integrations.

  • Optimising applications for speed, performance and usability.

  • Safeguarding code quality through testing, code reviews and best practices.

  • Contributing to architecture, clean code and technical decision-making.

  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

  • Working on applications where data, maps and smart interaction play an important role.

In short: you make sure our digital products are not only technically sound, but also feel smooth and intuitive. No “it works on my machine” energy — just solid, well-built software.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

We are looking for someone who has a strong foundation in full-stack development, but also understands that good software is about more than just clean code. You think along, ask questions and enjoy working with others to create smart solutions.

You bring at least:

  • Experience with React and modern front-end development.

  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks and component-driven development.

  • Experience with data-intensive front-end applications.

  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first development.

  • Experience building or maintaining component libraries.

  • Experience with end-to-end testing, preferably around front-end components.

  • Knowledge of UI technologies such as Shadcn/UI and Radix UI is a nice plus.

  • Experience with modern back-end technologies and API development.

  • A solid understanding of software engineering principles and clean architecture.

  • An eye for performance, accessibility and usability.

  • It is an extra plus if you have experience with or an interest in:

  • GIS and map technologies such as Mapbox or MapLibre.

  • Cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

  • Applications where large amounts of data need to be presented clearly and efficiently.

About us

At The IoT Provider, we build smart IoT solutions that make physical logistics processes digitally visible. We combine hardware, software and data to help companies better understand where their assets are, how they are being used and where processes can become smarter, faster or more reliable.

Within Connected Load Carrier, we focus specifically on smart load carriers: think pallets, containers, crates, roll containers or other assets that move through the supply chain. By connecting these carriers with IoT technology, we create real-time insight into location, usage, availability and movement across the supply chain.

Our solutions help customers gain more control over their logistics operations. Not through abstract dashboards, but through practical tools that help them manage inventory, asset usage, deviations, return flows, efficiency and supply chain performance.

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will work on software that directly connects to the physical world. You will help build platforms, dashboards and applications where IoT data, location information and logistics processes come together. In doing so, you contribute to digital products that help customers make their operations smarter and more scalable.

What we offer

  • Working in a scale-up: short lines, high ownership, fast decision-making;

  • Collaboration with driven professionals who value expertise over hierarchy;

  • Competitive employment conditions aligned with our current scale-up phase;

  • Plenty of room for ideas, improvement and healthy technical ownership;

  • Flexible working hours and hybrid working options — though we do expect your friendly personality to regularly brighten up the office (Brabant-style gezelligheid is never mandatory, but definitely encouraged);

  • Flexible number of vacation days: as long as we deliver what’s needed, there’s room for flexibility;

  • Daily shared lunch where work talk is optional;

  • Fun team outings, Thursday or Friday drinks, and plenty of laughter alongside hard work;

  • Opportunity to participate in our bike plan;

  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer or an NS Business Card;

  • Of course, we contribute to your pension plan.
